The problem

Wolfe Associates — a crisis management and corporate investigations firm — had three problems at once: a WordPress site getting hacked repeatedly, a site that didn't reflect the firm's actual credibility and expertise, and no real system for organizing dense, high-stakes content (specializations, case studies, articles, media mentions, video blog).

Process & Decisions

Migrated to Webflow to eliminate the security issue permanently. Barry — a film and art enthusiast — wanted the brand to channel Winston Wolfe from Pulp Fiction: the guy you call who calmly, smartly fixes the problem. I built the visual direction around that — dark palette, restrained, confident tone — so the site felt like the "fixer" his clients needed, not just a law firm brochure.

On structure, I organized content around four specialization pillars (Crises, Investigações, Litígio Internacional, Governança/Compliance), with cases, articles, media, and video content in distinct CMS-driven sections the team could update without a developer.

The harder problem was language. Most cases involve international companies, so the English version couldn't be a literal translation — legal jargon and Brazilian regulatory context had to be re-explained for a foreign audience, adapted enough that a prospect reading it understood the value and picked up the phone. I also structured case content to be well-tagged (SEO/AEO-minded) so AI search tools and answer engines could surface Wolfe Associates as a credible source.

Outcome

  • Zero security incidents since the Webflow migration
  • A dark, "fixer" aesthetic that matches Barry's own reference points and the gravity of the work — no longer undercutting a 45-year legal career with a generic template
  • Structured, well-tagged bilingual content improves how the firm surfaces in AI-driven and traditional search

"Somewhere between Pulp Fiction and corporate compliance law, we found a brand that says 'I'll fix it' without raising its voice. Turns out restraint reads as competence — on screen and in the courtroom."
